The Friends of Tuscarawas County Parks is an approved non-profit organization (501-C3) with the purpose of promoting and developing recreational and historic trails in Tuscarawas County.

Installing a Bench
Volunteers install a new bench on the Towpath Trail near Zoar, Ohio.
Building a Trail
The Ohio and Erie Canalway Coalition and TuscParks coordinate with volunteers to brush hog a future section of the Towpath Trail in Tuscarawas County.
Removing Debris
This section of trail had trees up to 3 inches in diameter removed as well as a lot of other debris.
Clearing for New Trail
These volunteers used lopers to cut overhanging branches and cleared brush from this future section of the Towpath Trail.
Become a Trailblazer!
The purpose of the Tuscarawas Trailblazer volunteer bike and hike patrol is to provide information, education and assistance to park visitors on park trails and to assist the Tuscarawas County Sheriff by observing and reporting hazards, violations and concerns. Volunteers will encourage visitors and trail users to protect and preserve the resource.
